Hunter Nesbitt

​​​Hunter Nesbitt lives in an isolated area on the east coast of the United States. He is a self-taught filmmaker and makes his films with modest financial and technical means.

​

Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, he received his university education at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. While there, he founded the Rathskeller theater group. He later received a graduate degree from the "Great Books" program at St. John's College in Annapolis, Maryland and Santa Fe, New Mexico.

​

In addition to his filmmaking, he is also a visual artist. His work has been exhibited in Washington, Baltimore, New York, Santa Fe, and Europe.

Carolina Monte Rosa

​Carolina Monte Rosa started her acting studies in Brazil while working with the Bioscenic Art Group and the theatrical company YinsPiracoes Poeticas Contemporaneas.

​

In 2008 she moved to Baltimore, Maryland to pursue a Master in Liberal Arts and further her theatrical training. She studied Meisner with Wendy Ward in NYC and has completed the first year of the technique in Los Angeles with Elizabeth Mestnik. In addition to her work on "Anna Marie" Carolina has worked on the feature films "Amateur Hour" and "Ultrasonic" and the shorts "Only Human", "Flashback", "The Shadow of Strangers", and "O Beijo da Meia-Noite.

2008 MARY SWANN DV (50 min.)

When asked, Mary Swann is forgetting her name. In a private counseling session, she recalls a traumatic experience from adolescence that begins to unravel why. (based on the short story THE SHINAGAWA MONKEY by Haruki Murakami)

2009 A CAFE WINDOW DV (14 min.)

A woman confronts her husband's mistress in a small Greenwich Village cafe on Christmas Eve. (based on August Strindberg's short play THE STRONGER)

2009 THE HONORED GUEST DV (11 min.)

The honored guest at a dinner party; a well-known and respected author, is having a crisis of confidence and self worth. Escaping from his hosts and the other guests, he encounters a young boy who reminds him of his childhood self.

A boy goes to the woods to be alone. He thinks back to the afternoon when suddenly, without understanding why, everything went wrong.
